Tyner UMC offers the
children of the church Rotation Sunday School. Each Sunday the ages
of children are divided as follows: K-1st grades, 2nd-3rd
grades and 4th-5th grades. The classes rotate
throughout the month to Cooking, Art, Games and Drama. In the
months that have five Sundays we offer Computer Lab. They hear the
same lesson told in very different ways to accommodate different
learning styles. It is a wonderful way for the children to retain
the Bible stories in their long term memories. They also are
encouraged to memorize the Bible verse for the month’s lesson. |

Music Opportunities:
We believe in lifting
our voices to the Lord and giving Him praise. Classes for handbells
and choirs are offered on Wednesday evenings beginning at 6:00 pm
and 6:30 pm. as follows:

Study
From 7:00-7:30 pm we
have a short Bible Study.

Policy
We are proud to
offer your child a safe place worship by providing you with
adults who have completed background checks and who want to give
your children a positive experience while in our church. They
take their responsibilities serious and love what they do. We
have many gifted SS teachers and musicians in our church who
participate in our Children’s Educational arena.
