Our Wednesday Night Classes

The Truth Project, Dr. Haskins. The Truth Project is a DVD-based small group curriculum comprised of 12 one-hour lessons taught by Dr. Del Tackett. This study is the starting point for looking at life from a biblical perspective. Each lesson discusses in great detail the relevance and importance of living the Christian worldview in daily life.  Produced by Focus on the Family. Room 210

Christianity and World Religions, Rev. Glenn Moseley. This 12 week study compares beliefs of  Hinduism, Buddhism, Judaism and Islam with that of Christianity. Discussion points will include, What are the differences between religions? Why do we believe what we believe? How can I witness to those of different faiths?  Room 402

Banners Ministry. Making Banners for Wesley Hall. Marge Korb, Room 203 

Alpha Course, The Alpha Course allows people to hear and reflect on certain essential topics related to the Christian faith, in a setting that even the skeptic finds comfortable. Alpha is a safe place for anyone to discuss questions that they have been waiting for the right time and place to be dealt with. Group leaders, Corey Griffin and Joe Byrd. Room 200

 The Frazzled Female. Ladies Bible Study Class, Lori Hopkins , Leader.
“The Frazzled Female” by Cindy Wood reaches out to busy ladies everywhere,
guiding them to sanity amidst their daily chaos and encouraging a deeper, more

Come As You Are.  A Christ centered aftercare group for female exoffenders. Mimi Neighbors. Room 205

 Cancer Support Group. Becky Baker leads this wonderful group which meets the first Wed. night of each month. 6:30-7:30. Room 204 

American Christian Writers. Anyone interesting in writing for a Christian genre (prose/poetry)  or who desires to know how to publish is welcome to join. The group will meet once a month. Contact Paula Egner, 886-5054. Group meets in Room 204 

Open Air Riders, Bill Adams, Christian Motorcycle and Convertible Club, These guys and gals really enjoy the fellowship of the great outdoors and riding for a purpose. If you own a bike or convertible, ride it on Wednesday nights this fall and join this group. Room 205

Our Sunday Night Classes 

6:00 P.M. 

First Place/ Weight Loss/ Bible Study .(ladies only) Sunday Night led by Barbara Farlik Have you put on a few pounds lately?  Are you eating too much fast food and watching too much television?  Join us as we begin First Place 4 Health. This program is a Christ centered approach to healthy living focusing on a balanced life.  The program includes Bible study, prayer, scripture memorization, group support and accountability and, of course, a nutritional plan.  We will be meeting weekly.   Learn more at www.firstplace4health.com.  Come and learn how to get your life back in balance.  You might even lose a few pounds in the process.

The youth activities in the Youth Center begin at 6:30pm.  We rotate between Bible Study and Drama in 4-6 week intervals.
