~ Romans Road to Salvation ~

The Book of Romans in the New Testament is a great place to begin reading about God’s plan to bring you close to Him again.  Before you read, ask God to show you all He can.  This is an outline of the Good News of Jesus Christ.  Read and then ask God what to do next!!

Who is good???

As the Scriptures say, "There is no one who always does what is right, not even one"
(Rom
3:10 TLB)

Who has sinned??

All have sinned and are not good enough for God's Glory.
(Rom
3:23 TLB)

Where sin came from??

Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin,
and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned. (Romans 5:12)

God’s Price for Sin

When people sin, they earn what sin pays - death. But God gives us a free gift - life forever in Christ Jesus, our Lord. (Rom 6:23 TLB)

Who pays the price?

But God shows his great love for us in this way: Christ died for us while we were still sinners. (Rom 5:8 TLB)

The Way to Freedom

If you use your mouth to say, "Jesus is Lord," and if you believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead, you will be saved. We believe with our hearts, and so we are made right with God. And we use our mouth to say that we believe, and so we are saved.
(Rom 10:9-10 TLB)

As the Scripture says, "Anyone who calls on the Lord will be saved" (Rom 10:13 TLB)

New Peace and Happiness

Since we have been made right with God by our faith, we have peace with God. This happened through our Lord Jesus Christ, who has brought us into that blessing of God's grace that we now enjoy. And we are happy because of the hope we have of sharing God's glory. (Rom 5:1-2 TLB)

How do I know what to do next?

Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God--this is your spiritual act of worship.  Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will. (Rom 12:1-2 NIV)

Do you need to ask Jesus to save you??
