Calendar of Events

Festival of Gifts and Talents  the 9th and is at Hixson UMC Gym!!  Dinner will be at 5 and begin festival at 5:30.  Pizza will be served at 5.

DATE CHANGE Fall Retreat November 14-16.   We will be meeting 4:00 after school leaving round 5 and heading up for dinner.  Staying Friday and Saturday night.  Be coming home Sunday afternoon bout 3.   Paintball is back on the massive course they have up there.  It will be awesome!!  Cost looks like it will be $100 if you play paintball. $80 if you are not doing paintball.  Set the date aside for a good time with Brainerd and Hixson youth groups.  Bobby Joe Hancock, the good ole country boy that was a speaker at Buffalo Mountain a couple years ago, will be there with us as our worship in the Word leader. Then we have a super special song worship leader that you all know and love dearly...Blaine...oh yeah!!  So you don't want to miss it!!

Flashlight, you wanna see in the dark, scary places don't you.

Shower stuff: towel, soap, shampoo, deodorant (please), tooth brush/paste

weather.com says few showers Friday, windy on Sat, partly sunny on Sun

Warm clothes, layers for paintball, gloves are nice too, you do not want to get hit in the hand when its cold by one of those rock hard paint balls...it stings a bit!!!

clothes you can move in for the low ropes course challenges..there is usually a big game of some good football happening as well. 

November 20th - 24th National Youth Workers Convention Jeff Mac, Jeff Hall, Elizabeth and possibly Jeanette going.   Hopefully Brian will make it happen Sunday Evening...will let you and snack mama's know.

November 30th Youth must participate in the Hanging of the Greens service that evening.

December 4-6 Madrigal...youth can help out in kitchen!!

December ???  We need a house or  2 for christmas party's  Any Volunteers???

December 21 2-4:00 is Angel Tree Party where youth are heavily involved...we get to play some games and then give gifts to Children.  That evening is caroling to Nursing homes. 

Resurrection will be either the 16-18th or 23-25...
