SUMMER CAMP 2010 July 3-9th
MEET AT 7:00 Wanna Leave by
7:30. Need you here so we can load up sound system and all!! Please
get here at 7!
We have an exciting agenda for the week
featuring fun, sun, fellowship and some incredible worship experiences with our
speaker, Bobby Jo Hancock and a superb worship leader. Everyone should be at the
church loading luggage on the bus by 7:00AM on Saturday, July 3, 2010 and plan
on staying until send off at 8:00AM. We will be returning on Friday, July 9th
around 8:30PM. We will be staying at Laguna Beach Christian Retreat, 20016 Front
Beach Road, Panama City, FL 32413. The phone number there is 850-234-2502. Fax
850-234-2578. You can check out their website at www.christiancamp.com. These
are the contact numbers for their main office through which contact can be made
in the event of an emergency however there are no phones in the rooms. You may
also reach me on my cell phone at 423-505-4652. There is a payphone that the
kids may use to call home with but they will need to have a calling card to make
long distance calls. In the event of an emergency you will be contacted. In the
event of very serious discipline problems you will be contacted and arrangements
will be made for you to come and pick up your child immediately or have them
SENT home. There is a souvenir & snack shop on property.

Resurrection will be the 22- 24th Justin Lookadoo will be our
speaker and he is a national speaker that is all about bringing the message of
Christ to young people!
He is often at National Youth Workers Convention as speaker

Tuesday
Youth Band will be playing at
Brooks Memorial United Methodist Church
3619 Fairfax Drive. It's
just off Access Road in Hixson! They will have hotdogs and Icecream
at Brooks.
Come hang out, Bring the
family. You can drive over if you wish...or meet at church will leave
close to 5 to get over there!
We might just drive cars and
not take the bus unless we absolutely have to...but I don't mind drivin it
either...I'm feeling so much better today!

Lake Party at Wolftever Fishing Club

Summer Camp to Panama City Beach!! It will be awesome!! Cost is $150

This is going to be another great year for our Spiritual Life Retreat in Panama
City. We have an exciting agenda for the week featuring fun, sun, fellowship and

bus by 7:00AM on Saturday, June 27th and plan on staying until send off at

on Fri to help pack. We have
Marsha coming again to cook for us (WOW) The Lord worked that out for us just
this week after our main cooks had a conflict! TYJ

Whirly Ball in Atlanta we will leave at 9:00 and eat lunch then play from 12-2
and come on home.
Cost is dependant on
how many we have go down!! $380 per court for 2 hours...that's with 10
people playing the whole time! So we are looking at $38 to play for 2
straight hours!! Then $ for lunch. Plan on that and it might be less
if we have more folks. It really is fun and you need to go!! check

Spring Break
WED 3-18 Meet at
Church at 11:30 go to lunch...bring $$ for pizza or taco bell. Then visit
Nursing Home for a while before heading back up to the church!!
Thursday
MORNING
Going to Forest Ave
Methodist to help with Homeless ministry. Meet at 9:30 leaving at 9:40
with our without you!! Have to be there around 10 to begin making food for
serving that day. We'll hang out at Coolige Park, get some ice cream for a
while afterwards then head back to church to get you home for dinner and ready
for lock-in!!
EVENING
9:00 Lock-in at the
church...yes all night. Cost $10 Chaperones Jeff Mac, Brian Burg,
Jeff Hall, Jeanette Hop, Elizabeth Burg! Any other adults welcome...come
on out!!! you can take a shift!! Talk about well covered!!
Discussion about going to late movie...survey still out!! It will be
PG-13 at most. Bring some of your movies for big screen, and some video
games!! Will start clean up bout 7:30 and hopefully have everyone picked
up by 8...AM no PM Please!! Thanks!!!

June 11th
Camping Harrison Bay State Park Show up at 5:00 AT HARRISON BAY. We
will have out sites and you can come check us out!! Bring $10 for Food and
stuff. We will have burgers and dogs for dinner, smores, and sandwiches
for lunch. Pick up time is 3:00 or earlier, whenever is best for YOU.
Be sure to bring a tent, chair to sit on, swimtrunks, towels, games, fun stuff.
June 15-19 VBS
Every youth is needed to be there and help minister to our church kids and the
community children. Plan on going out to Lunch and hanging out at church
afterwards.
